Before signing up, users must participate in a training session on the instrument and be certified by a facility technician. Once certified, users can sign up using the SchedulerIn addition, all users must fill out the freeze dryer user log book each time it is operated. The freeze dryer start-up documentation and user log book can be found in a binder near the equipment in the EMF. The freeze dryer is currently available for drying non-hazardous materials dissolved or suspended in water ONLY. Users wishing to freeze dry hazardous materials or solutions other than water can contact Taylor to discuss feasibility.
